The mission of DEC is to glorify God by making mature disciples of Jesus through worship, community and proclaiming the Gospel locally and globally. This is the same mission that guides the DEC women’s ministry.
The vision of women’s ministry at DEC is to offer opportunities for spiritual growth, events, and support that aligns with the overall mission of DEC and addresses the unique needs and roles of women. As daughters of the King we are chosen, redeemed, cleansed, called, empowered, and enabled to bring the message of Jesus Christ to a broken world. This vision promotes a life that is centered in Christ and an identity that is rooted in God’s unconditional and extravagant love for his children so that we are always prepared to share the reason for the hope we have in Christ.
To be fully Known and to be fully Loved, by God.
That is what we desire 2019 to be about for us.
What a life changing truth to aspire to understand at the core of who we are?
As a women’s ministry team, we would like to communicate with you the vision for 2019.
To be fully Known and to be fully Loved, by God.
We know this truth in our heads but we want to own it deep in our hearts so that each mountain we climb or valley we muck through has a new purpose and a new perspective.
I have no doubt that each of us understand from experience the realities of life – the good, the bad and the ugly. But we also know the beauty and fullness and love that life has to offer.
We, as a community, desire to be connected by unity in the promise of our Savior and to be defined by Him. No matter your position or place, your age or background, your experiences or failures – we want to allow the depth and fullness and grace of Jesus’s love pierce our souls this year. Together.

This would be a great event to invite your non-Christian friends and neighbors to attend! Save the date for Saturday, September 28th from 6:30-8:30pm in the Function Hall. Instead of bringing food to share, we are asking everyone to bring gently used children's clothing for the Pass Along Project which redistributes "hand-me-downs" to children placed in Foster Care in NH. Every foster care family in NH can contact this organization and get a bundle of a week's worth of clothing for their foster clothes within 24 hours of placement. Given that most children arrive with just the clothes on their back, this ministry supports foster care families and children. Don't have any used children's clothes--we have set up a DEC Women's Ministry Amazon wish list so you can buy a package of socks, new underwear, or other items the Pass Along Project needs. We will spend some time getting to know one another better and then use the rest of our time to organize the donations into bundles for the Pass Along Project to redistribute.
Fall 2019 Bible Studies on God's Faithful Love from the Book of Hosea
We are offering the same 6-week Bible study on the book of Hosea at different days, times, locations, and formats. Most studies start at the beginning of October and go through mid-November Our hope is to have every woman at DEC in a Bible study growing in her understanding of Scripture and getting more connected to other women in the church because there is truly a study for everyone, including if you speak Chinese and attend the Grace Chinese Fellowship that meets at DEC on Friday nights! We even have a virtual group that will use the youversion Bible app to discuss the study! Click here for more details and to register for the Bible studies. Registration will end September 28 so don't wait!
