Prayer is a foundational part of our church and its growth in Christ. The Prayer Ministry at DEC desires to encourage prayer in small groups, church-wide, and individual, private prayer.
Our prayer teams meet in the prayer room located in the Community Room on Sunday mornings from 8:30–8:55 AM and 10:00–10:25 AM, as well as on Tuesday mornings at 11:00 AM. During these small-group gatherings, we spend time praising our Lord, silently confessing our sins, and thanking God for His many blessings and answered prayers. We also lift up prayer requests for our own needs and the needs of others, for the church and the surrounding community, for our elders and staff, and for individual ministries and those serving in missions both locally and globally.

We also have our Night of Prayer the first Wednesday of every month from 7:00 to 8:00 PM which meets in the Community Room. It is a wonderful time to come together in prayer.
