Phil Lewis

Elder

Phil, Amy and their family live in Barrington, NH and have been attending DEC since 2011. We have been married for 11 years and have four children (ages 9, 7, 5, and 3).

As a native New Englander, Phil grew up on the South Shore of Massachusetts before coming to and graduating from UNH. While at UNH, Phil was saved through the ministry of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. From 2013-2020 I served on staff at DEC as the Director of Student Ministries discipling students,  their families, and leaders. During this time I also worked in the local school districts as a tennis coach, substitute teacher, and local resource. In addition I worked alongside other ministries such as YoungLife, InterVarsity, and more to bring the Kingdom into the community. After leaving my staff position, I then went on to earn my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and currently work as a local Mental Health Counselor.

Amy and I have led a small group since 2019. Currently, Amy also serves on the worship team while I recently joined the Outreach Ministry Team. I have a heart for shepherding God’s people to ultimately see them and His church live into the fullness of His design. We love this church, it is our family in so many ways, and we are excited to partner with the Holy Spirit as His Kingdom comes and His will is done in/through DEC, the Seacoast and beyond.
