Nic Brenner

Pastor

Nic grew up in Maine and attended the University of New Hampshire.  It was in college when God truly transformed his life and gave him a desire for full-time ministry.  After working as an engineer for a few years, he and his wife Christy joined the campus ministry of Cru and served for the next sixteen years at multiple campuses including Cornell University, SUNY Cortland, and the University of New Hampshire.

In 2021, the Brenner family was privileged to be a part of a team that planted a church in central New York.  It was through his time serving as a pastor there that Nic grew in his conviction that God changes lives and his church is central to that mission.

Nic came to DEC in 2025 with his wife Christy, his sons Jack, Charlie and Max, and his daughter Tessa. 

When his body's cooperating, he loves to play soccer and basketball.  When he has spare time he enjoys a good car repair.  And he's always looking for the next good book to read.
