Since moving from Italy to New Hampshire in 1978, Gary has dedicated his life to community service, education, and global humanitarian impact. After graduating from Portsmouth High School, he earned a political science degree at the University of New Hampshire through Army ROTC, later serving six years as an Artillery officer in the NH National Guard.

Transitioning to education, Gary obtained a teaching certificate from Keene State College. He spent twelve years teaching Social Studies at Conant High School and four years supporting students at Epping Middle School.

Gary's mission shifted globally when he joined Child Voice, living and working in Uganda. This inspired him to found Global Ministry Partners, a non-profit supporting a Ugandan NGO. Today, Gary balances his facility manager role at DEC with biannual trips to Uganda, where his organization has built a school, established a health center, drilled 24 wells, and launched seven community Bible studies.
