The Lenten Series – Slow down and experience God – Luke 4:1-13, 22:39-48 – 100221 Quiet place

This month we will be celebrating Communion on Sunday, February 28th at all three services.  There will NO evening service on Wednesday, February 24th.

There will be no Celebrate Recovery tonight, February 16th due to the snow.

Student Ministries is sponsoring a food drive for starving families in West Virginia. Over 400 families in this impoverished area are in need of food. Please bring non-perishable food items to the function hall any time before Feb 15. The student ministry team will be driving the collection down to WV after that date.

DEC is reserving the tubing hill at Gunstock Mountain for an absolute blast of an afternoon flying down the snow with DEC family and friends. Make a memory, meet new friends, enjoy God’s creation. We will be meeting at the mountain. Tickets need to be purchase in advance, so signups will be held 1/31, 2/7 and 2/14 in between all services. Cost is $12.50 per person for unlimited tubing. Make checks payable to DEC with “MFL Events Tubing” in the memo. Tubes are provided by Gunstock so just arrive dressed warmly and ready to have fun! We encourage you to be ready to share dinner with fellow tubing fanaticas after the event per your own arrangements.
