Marriage & Family Life Ministry, and Children’s Ministry invite you to TAKE A HAYRIDE on Saturday, October 31st from 9:30-11:00AM at Emery Farm in Durham. Community Partners is an organization that supports families with developmental disabilities. They have an outing, which includes about 100 people, children and adults, who receive support of various kinds through their affiliation with Community Partners. Because of the generous hearts of children who attended VBS in August, dec was able to show some of Christ’s provision and love with a financial donation to the organization. Get to know some of the lives touched by such generosity as you take a hay ride and socialize side by side.

Take note, Moms – the Men’s Retreat is this same weekend, making the Hayride an even better way to entertain the kids for the morning! Please note that you are personally responsible for the cost of hayrides, apples, and pumpkins available on location. Community Partners will be providing cider and cookies for members of their group and dec friends.

There’s no need to sign up – please feel free to join us at Emery Farm, find a familiar dec face (like Sue Spinney or Alana Lepine) and be guided to share a fun morning reaching out to the community!

October 18th, we’ll have the privilege of hosting Derek Williams from sunny southern California at all three services. Derek is a man who comes to us with a depth of ministry experience both inside the church and outside. He describes himself as a producer, a writer, and an advocate to end poverty. But mostly what he brings is an invitation to respond to the call of God and to discover how God would desire to use your life for glory of His Kingdom.

The UNH1000 Prayer Walk Saturday will be October 17th 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. in front of Diamond Library.   Join College Students as they partner with local churches and campus ministries to pray for the power of the Gospel at work on the UNH Campus! God desires to unleash the power of His kingdom on this earth. Men are right at the center of that desire. It is time to embrace the fullness of what it means to be a son of God. It is time to put away the lies, excuses, and sins that keep us from being all that God wants us to be.
