Our Global Outreach partnerships in Haiti, Uganda, Peru, and Mali need donations to help the less-fortunate in their countries.  You can be a part of the effort to help by purchasing some of the needed items, packing them up and labeling which ministry they’re intended to help (Uganda, Haiti, Peru, or Mali), and leaving the donated package in the purple skirted basket in the upstairs hallway.

Some needs are ongoing, but some are time-sensitive:  The needs are as follows:

Uganda: for child mothers and their children at ChildVoice Intl’s Lukodi Center (June, ongoing)

• women’s underwear, sizes medium and large
• nursing bras and nursing pads, velcroed cloth diapers
• children’s underwear (for both girls and boys, all sizes)
• AAA batteries
• medicine: children’s (Tylenol, mult-vitamins etc.) unexpired and unopened
• children’s clothes-neutral, for either boy or girl

Haiti: items needed for DEC short term trips (English Camp, the orphanages, food for the team and medical supplies for the clinic) (Donations are needed for July trips)

• pencils, pencil sharpeners, pencil boxes, crayons, colored pencils, sidewalk chalk
• candy – small pieces individually wrapped (tootsie roll mix, starburst, lollipops)
• 6 quart containers with lid
• toothbrush, toothpaste
• cold cereal, granola bars, trail mix, peanut butter, tuna fish, canned chicken, nuts
• disinfectant wipes, medical gloves, flip flops (all sizes – child & adult)
• medicine – adult & children, unexpired,unopened (all types – vitamins, neosporin, motrin, etc)

Peru: for short term trip with Medical Missions Int’l, outreaches and clinic (Donations are needed for a September trip)

• pens
• pencils for the children
• 2 soccer balls with a pump
• frisbees
• a guitar to leave with the church

Mali: for short term trip with Medical Missions Int’l, outreaches and clinic (January, ongoing)

• chapstick
• winter hats for kids and adults (knitted types)
• medicine – adult & children, unexpired, unopened (all types – vitamins, neosporin, motrin, etc)
