I was born and raised as a missionary child in a small town north of Paris, France, where my parents started a music program and taught at the European Bible Institute. When I reached my high school years, I attended the Black Forest Academy in Kandern, Germany. It was there that I met my wife, Ingrid, and finally convinced her that I was the right guy for her.
Ingrid and I have now been married since 1987 and have 3 grown children. After starting our married life together on the North Shore of Massachusetts, the Lord led us to New Hampshire in 1992. It was shortly after the move that Ingrid was introduced to DEC through the MOPS program. In March of 1993, we made DEC our home and have been here ever since.
Currently Ingrid is a 3rd grade teacher at Portsmouth Christian Academy. I work as a Trooper with the New Hampshire State Police.
Ingrid has served in the MOPS program and has taught Sunday School. I have been involved with the Worship Team since the Spring of 1993. Together, we have been involved in Community Groups as leaders and attendees.
Although I gave my life to the Lord at a young age, it has been a learning process all along, and continues to be to this day. I am thankful for the church body here at DEC. Through this body and the dear friends we have made here over the years, God has challenged and corrected us when necessary, but also brought comfort to us in times of great need. Most importantly, it has been a place where God has been shaping and molding us to become more like Jesus everyday.
