Are you looking for a place to serve at DEC? God has gifted each of us differently and has called us to use our gifts to encourage and edify the church.

1 Corinthians 12:4-6; 12-14

"There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.

Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink. Even so the body is not made up of one part but of many."

All of our different gifts make up the body of DEC and the greater body of the universal church. If you would like to use your giftedness to serve here are some opportunities:

Teaching and encouraging the younger generation in the Lord is truly something we do as a community. From leading wacky games in Kids' Church to holding babies in the Nursery so Mom & Dad can focus on the sermon, you have an opportunity to invest in the lives of our young families.

To serve with the DEC Kids team, please add your name to the dates you'd like to help at the link below. (Please note: both 1st and 2nd service are on here, so make sure you sign up for the right one.) A background check is conducted for all adults who work with kids at DEC; if you haven't had one done recently, you'll be asked to fill out a permission form before volunteering.

Brief descriptions of each role are below. Contact Katie Brouse for more details.

Nursery - hold babies, play with toddlers, change diapers, serve Cheerios snack

PreK & Kindergarten - supervise playtime, show a brief Bible story video, and serve snack

Kids' Church - lead kids in a time that's fun, safe & relational - possible activities include leading games and showing videos

Check-Ins - greet families and help parents check-in their children to the appropriate location

The worship team is looking for people who may be interested in being trained on sound or graphics. Please contact Danielle at for more info.
